so i really want to do my bathroom over in this water themed kinda way. i am super into the color cobalt blue and things that remind me of water. astrologically speaking im a water sign, which doesn't mean a damned thing but i like to pretend that's why i like blue and water so much.
anyhow, as it turns out, i have incredibly expensive taste. initially i wanted those sweet heat sensitive tiles that change colors (see right). the big problem with these though is that they are 25 bucks a piece for each 4 by 4 tile (?!?!) AND the color changing aspect only lasts 7-10 years. if im paying 25 bucks a tile it better do shit forever.
So then i found this amazing blue tile that looks like water (see left). yeah, gorgeous right? 184.09 a square foot. apparently it's hand painted or some shit. cant they make beautiful things in factories in china and sell them for five bucks? what happened to that? sigh. anyhow. new tile is apparently never going to happen for me.
